Leading uniform company Taylor Made Designs (TMD) will be showcasing their industry leading, fully-automated online ordering platform at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Some of TMD’s larger yachting clients have used the online ordering system and it has already generated fantastic feedback.

With specific uniform requirements for different crew members and a different uniform for different parts of the day, managing the yacht’s uniform supply used to be an unwanted and unnecessary drain on resource. Not only did the yacht have to keep their own records of what items were purchased from where, but there was also the lottery of embroidery or screen-printing and would each supplier be able to personalise the clothing in exactly the same way so that the yacht’s name or motif would look the same. The TMD online ordering platform was developed to solve these problems and to allow the yacht to manage the uniform requirements whatever the time of day, from wherever in the world they might be.
