Top Marques prepares for second ‘Top Marques Watches’ event during MYS

Organisers of supercar event Top Marques are currently preparing for the launch of the second edition of specialist watch event ‘Top Marques Watches’, due to take place during the Monaco Yacht Show.

Designed as a pop-up show under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Top Marques Watches is dedicated exclusively to luxury watches and bespoke jewellery. The event is to be held in the Hotel Hermitage’s Salle Belle Epoque, and will run from the 29th September until the 1st October 2016.

Top Marques Watches is organised in association with a number of prestigious organisations based in Monaco, including The Edmond de Rothschild Group, The Societe des Bains de Mer, Casino de Monte-Carlo, Monaco Telecom and Monaco Disease Power.

Exhibitors at the event include a variety of well-known luxury brands including MontBlanc, Kapriss, Rebellion Timepieces, Boucheron and Franck Muller. There will also be a number of newcomers, including Austrian-Swiss jewellery brand, Design Desire.

Organisers describe Top Marques Watches as a chance for watch connoisseurs and lovers of all things luxurious, stating it to be a “perfect opportunity to peruse collections from the world’s top watch and jewellery brands.”

In a recent Top Marques press release, Manoj Bairstow, managing director of Top Marques Monaco expressed his excitement for the event, commenting, “It looks like it's going to be a glittering event. A number of exhibitors from last year are planning to come again, which we take as a very good sign.

“We are also very pleased that a number of new brands have already committed to Top Marques Watches 2016, such as Maison DeWitt Watches, a company that was set up in 2003 by Jerome de Witt, a direct descendant of the Emperor Napoleon.”

While Top Marques Watches is open to the public, there will also be an invitation-only cocktail party on the evening of 29th September.
