Veritais Ltd, a leading consultancy and supplier of audio-visual systems for luxury yachts, has been awarded the Control4 Marine Install Award for the upgrade performed on 36m displacement motor yacht Metsuyan IV.
This is the second year running that UK-based Veritais has won the yacht installation award, one of Control4’s most prestigious award scheme categories.
Control4 held the award ceremony at the ISE in Amsterdam in February to honour their European dealer network. David Milner of Veritais commented, “Receiving this award for the second year in a row is a great achievement for us. Control4 is recognised as one of the world’s great providers of personalised automation and control solutions, and their products are ideal for our superyacht customers."
The upgrade of the on-board audio-visual system required that Veritais modernise the core storage, transmission and control systems. Original screens, amplifiers and DVD players were re-used with the Veritais team resolving all compatibility issues and the installation was completed in three weeks.
Designed by Ginto Naval Architects and launched in 2006 by CBI Navi, Metsuyan IV is built in steel and aluminium. The accommodation is spread over three decks and has room for ten guests and seven crew.
