British crew-training provider Warsash Superyacht Academy has partnered with Porto Montenegro to launch a series of crew training courses in Montenegro before the end of the year – and, subject to demand, will go on to offer its full maritime training portfolio at a later date.
The partnership will see the opening of the Warsash Superyacht Academy Porto Montenegro training facility, a specially designed base for the various courses Warsash will host at the port.
The move comes as both companies sought to provide new ‘world-class training’ opportunities to aspiring yachties in Southern Europe.
David Margason, managing director of Porto Montenegro, said, “The opening of the Warsash Superyacht Academy Porto Montenegro will further broaden the integrated superyacht services on offer at Porto Montenegro, making it the natural yachting homeport base of choice in this part of Mediterranean.”
He added, “We look forward to bringing you more news of the commencement operations of the Academy very soon, with a view to offering the first courses in the autumn and winter of 2018/2019.”
The full list of courses available courtesy of the new partnership can be found on Porto Montenegro’s website.
