Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Yachting Pages are proud to announce that James Williams, the account manager who represented the superyacht media group at Pinmar Yachting Golf Tournament last week, walked away with the Longest Drive Award.
As James was invited on stage to accept his award he handed over €400 euros to event organisers and explained to the crowd that it was raised by inductee’s of the Yachting Pages Lagoon Hall of Shame during the four day event.
Yachting Pages sponsored the lake between holes four and five in the 25th golf tournament in aid of charity. The challenge was then set that for each wayward ball that ended up in the lake, or Yachting Pages lagoon as it is now known, Yachting Pages would donate €5 to the charities that Pinmar choose this year. Eighty players over the four days ended up in the lagoon and the pictures and videos in the Hall of Shame are well worth a look.
The charities are yet to be announced, however last year the tournament managed to raise €72,000 which was shared between a total of 13 different causes.
Photos of the event, and players who end up in the lake, are now featured in the Yachting Pages Lagoon - Hall of Shame 2013.
